Set in the heart of Northumberland, our client offers an unforgettable setting for weddings, private functions, and special events — and now they need a passionate events professional to bring these magical moments to life. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, creative, and customer-focused team where no two days are the same. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a flair for making events run seamlessly, we’d love to hear from you. The Role As Wedding & Events Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for planning and executing bespoke weddings and private events. From the first enquiry to the final toast, you’ll manage all stages of the customer journey — ensuring every detail is handled with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all wedding and private event enquiries.
  • Plan and coordinate events from initial consultation through to on-the-day execution.
  • Conduct venue show-rounds, liaising with couples and clients to tailor their event vision.
  • Work closely with in-house catering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage event documentation, contracts, and timelines.
  • Provide on-site coordination during events — including weekends and evenings as required.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience in event planning or coordination — weddings highly desirable.
  • Confident, well-organised, and able to juggle multiple events and deadlines.
  • A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working flexibly — including evenings and weekends.
  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Driving licence and access to transport is a plus due to location.
