Job Title – Sous Chef

Adkins & Cheurfi have an exciting opportunity on behalf of our esteemed client, an established name in the gastro industry who have been running successful pubs since 2006. With 32 establishments across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, North Yorkshire and Cumbria a unique opportunity has become available for an ambitious Sous Chef to join their business on a temporary ongoing basis.
As Sous Chef, you will play a huge part to the day-to-day smooth running of the kitchen service team. Ensuring company values are met by producing amazing food and a top service to their customers.
Role /Responsibilities
- Catering for the camp, ensuring great quality food is served to everyone on site.
- Following a set menu.
- Responsible for full kitchen operations and ensuring that standards are not just met, but consistently surpassed.
- Breakfast, lunch, and evening meals to be produced.
- Working 5 out of 7 days which will include some weekends.
Candidate
- Experienced Sous Chef with Gastro Pub background
- Cooking from scratch using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
- Driving license will be essential due to location. Unable to commute via public transport.
- Producing high quality food that is appealing on the eye too.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to strategize and synchronize day-to-day operations, ensuring that standards are not just met, but consistently surpassed.
- Maintaining high kitchen standards and ensuring working areas are clean and tidy.
Salary and Benefits
- £14-£18 per hour.
