We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning restaurant with rooms on the stunning Scottish West Coast, offering an intimate, slow-paced dining experience in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. With only 20 covers and no table resets, their focus is on quality over quantity, allowing guests to truly unwind and savour the best of locally sourced ingredients. In addition to their restaurant, our client offers five beautifully appointed rooms for lodging guests. The team is tight-knit and easy-going, and we are looking for a motivated Head Chef & Sous Chef couple to join us for the season.
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and driven couple to take the helm in our kitchen. The ideal candidates will bring creativity, leadership, and a deep appreciation for seasonal and locally inspired cuisine. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience while maintaining the high standards that have earned us our reputation.
Responsibilities:

Head Chef: Oversee kitchen operations, create seasonal menus, manage suppliers, and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.

Sous Chef: Support the Head Chef in all aspects, from prep to plating, and step up in their absence.

Work collaboratively to develop menus that highlight the best of Scottish produce.

Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen in line with health and safety regulations.

Ensure smooth service for a small, intimate setting without the rush of high-volume dining.

Communicate effectively with front-of-house to provide a seamless guest experience.

Assist with stock control, ordering, and managing food costs.
