Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment are hiring on behalf of a newly refurbished restaurant & pub in Houghton-Le-Spring, Sunderland.

About the venue:

The Copt Hill Pub, Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland, is looking for a Dynamic and Talented Head Chef who would like to put their stamp on the local area. The Copt Hill has recently undertaken a complete £500,000 refurbishment. With beautiful surrounding views, constantly providing high end food for its ever growing customers, it really makes this a chosen destination restaurant and pub. As head chef of a fresh food operation you will work closely alongside your team in producing fresh quality food.

About the role:

As Head Chef you can look forward to the following: Average 45 hr week, Staff discounts across the group, Ongoing development opportunities in a growing group.

Person specification:

The successful Head Chef will have the following:

  • Experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment.
  • Be able to work well under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and a hands on approach
  • The ability to manage a team
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to guests
