Our client: A luxurious and historic country house hotel with nestled in a serene Lake District location, boasting 41 elegant en-suite rooms, a fine dining restaurant, and exceptional views of the Lake District.
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the kitchen, working alongside an experienced team to deliver high-quality, seasonal dishes using the finest local ingredients. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards, ensuring consistency, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel’s fine dining restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and execute new menu items
- Maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety standards in line with regulations
- Train and support junior kitchen team members, ensuring a smooth kitchen operation
- Monitor portion control and waste management to maximise efficiency
- Uphold the hotel’s reputation for delivering outstanding dining experiences
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a quality hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and fine dining cuisine
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
