Our client’s kitchen team is the heart of the hotel, providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and fine dining in the evening to their guests, both resident and non-resident. Due to increased levels of business, they are looking to expand their team and are seeking their next superstar! We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our client’s elite team.
Under the guidance of the Head Chef, you will assist the Sous Chef in overseeing and directing all aspects of the kitchen operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Adhering to Food Safety Standards and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
- Collaborating with the Head Chef/Sous Chef to create seasonal menus
- Preparing, cooking, and executing food to high standards
- Managing own section, ordering, and administration
- Training and developing the kitchen team
- Following recipes, health & safety guidelines, and maintaining food hygiene standards
- Providing the best experience for guests and working well in a team setting
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role in a 2/3 rosette restaurant
- Current Level 2 Food Safety in Catering Certificate
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
Working Conditions: Permanent role with a salary between £28,000 – £30,000 per year plus tips depending on experience.
