Job Title – Relief Chef

Adkins and Cheurfi Recruitment are looking to recruit agency chefs to join our Edinburgh based relief team.

We supply to a variety of clients which include contract catering sites, hotels, restaurants, care homes, schools & more. We offer excellent rates of pay either PAYE plus holiday pay, but you can also opt to join us as an LTD company or under an umbrella payment plan. Weekly pay (every Friday), variety of shifts and venues, new challenges, progression and flexible work options.

The Role/Responsibilities 

• Food Preparation
• Stock Control
• Capable of running any given section
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness at all times and ensuring food hygiene procedures are being followed.

Candidate requirements

• 2+ years chef experience
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate as a minimum
• Must have own chef whites, safet shoes and knives
• Driving Licence and own transport (preferred)

Salary and Benefits 

• £15.00 to £23.00 per hour (DOE) – PAYE, Contractors, Limited Companies
• Weekly pay
• Uniform provided after probationary period
• Free access updated certificates
• Up to 28 days accrued holiday pay available
