We are seeking a passionate and reliable Breakfast Chef to join their award-winning kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced breakfast service and takes pride in delivering high-quality, consistent food to a high standard.

About the venue:

Stunning 4-star country house hotel with direct access to the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District. This elegant Georgian property combines historic charm with modern luxury, offering guests a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding fells. Just a short drive from Penrith, the hotel features an award-winning restaurant, comfortable period-style rooms, and excellent hospitality, making it a popular choice for leisure stays, weddings, and private events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve breakfast for hotel guests to a 4-star standard.

  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.

  • Ensure timely preparation and presentation of all breakfast menu items.

  • Work efficiently to meet morning service deadlines.

  • Assist with stock control and ordering when required.

  • Liaise with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a breakfast chef or similar role in a hotel or quality restaurant setting.

  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Ability to work independently during early shifts.

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.

  • Own transport is essential due to rural location.

Benefits:
