Assistant Restaurant Manager (Live-in) for a Luxury Estate in the Yorkshire Dales
Assistant Restaurant Manager required to work in a Fine Dining Restaurant within a 4-star Luxury Estate, nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The ideal candidate should come from a similar background with an interest in Food and Wine.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work alongside the Restaurant Manager to ensure the ambiance and standards of presentation within the restaurant, lounge areas and bar exceed guest expectations
- Ensuring continuous learning and development for both yourself and the team
- Identifying new ways to surprise customer and delivering the highest standard of service
- Handling any customer complaints, fulfilling duty management shifts and ensuring any service recovery is completed to the guest’s satisfaction
- Keeping up to date with the industry and market both locally and nationally
Candidate expectations:
- Experienced at a similar level in a red star hotel
- People focused
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
- Knowledgeable of fine dining and wine, however, full training will be given
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Focused on providing excellent customer service
Package description:
- Starting salary of £25,000 plus quarterly service charge up to £400.00
- 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) increasing with service
