This landmark property is not just a hotel but a vibrant hub for events, weddings, and social functions. With its prime location near the seaside and the town centre, the hotel enjoys a steady stream of visitors and offers extensive event spaces, an array of food and drink options and well-appointed hotel rooms.

We are looking for an experiened General Manager to take the helm of this property and steer it to new heights of success, this is a fantasic opportunity to put your stamp on this property and shape its future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff, including F&B, Housekeeping, Reception and Events, ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the venue owners on a transformational journey to elevate the hotel’s offerings and reputation.
  • Oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including events, weddings, and social functions.
  • Drive business growth by maximising revenue opportunities and enhancing guest experiences.
  • Maintain and improve the hotel’s facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and financial targets.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating large teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Experience in managing events and functions is highly desirable.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a keen eye for detail.
