Both restaurants have high ambitions, aiming for Sunderland’s first Michelin Bib Gourmand! Ember will bring the rich flavors of Asia to Sheepfolds, led by the skilled chef Tamer Hassan. Vito’s Osteria, owned by the former executive chef of Gino D’Acampo Restaurant Newcastle, Vittorio Farigu, will offer exquisite small plates inspired by various Mediterranean regions.
